**Industrial Electrician** **Job Description** -Analyzes electro/mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment, and auxiliary equipment. -Works with current Controls Specialist and Mechanics in monitoring and troubleshooting of automated equipment, VFD’s, HMI’s and PLC’s. -Troubleshoots plant and utility equipment making all necessary repairs. -Assist machine operators in determining when the machine should be shut down due to mechanical or electrical problems. -Perform established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment and completes appropriate paperwork. -Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and disconnects. -Ability to read complex electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. -Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors & motor control circuits. -Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment. -Ability to use electrical testing equipment to assist with troubleshooting equipment. -Knowledge of National Electric Code. **Hard Skills** + Basic industrial 3-phase power knowledge + AC and DC motors + Relay logic + Programmable control logic + Power transmission equipment knowledge + Reading mechanical drawings, scales, and symbols + Basic industrial electricity experience + Industrial maintenance experience + Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel) + Excellent troubleshooting experience **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
