Overview:

We are seeking an industrial electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This will be a Full-Time position with GameStop.

This role sits full time on site in Grapevine, TX.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial / industrial settingsRead and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiringInspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defectsDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing devicesRepair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power toolsFollow safety guidelines and adhere to NEC /NFPA 70codes and regulationsCollaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budgetProvide excellent customer service and address any client concerns

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of hands on in an industrial/ manufacturing settingStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipmentProficient in reading blueprints and technical diagramsFamiliarity with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllersAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various environmentsPossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate MS Word and Excel skills.Receives direction from supervisor/manager and shift leads in a positive and constructive manner.Must be able to bend, stoop, reach overhead with arms and hands and climb ladders; must be able to climb stairs up to three flights and not be afraid of heights. Must be able to maintain high levels of activity throughout assigned shift.  Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs (30lbs for sanitation).Ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including, but not limited to, those related to attendance and scheduling requirements, honesty and integrity, confidentiality, safety, and conflict of interest while performing job duties to comply with local and federal standards.

Qualifications:

Master Electrician license requiredProven experience as an Electrician or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 regulations and safety standardsExperience working on commercial electrical projectsAbility to read and interpret blueprints accuratelyFamiliarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols
