Industrial Electrician
**Job Title: Industrial Electrician** **Job Description** Plan, layout, and perform all operations pertaining to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of complicated electrical equipment and circuitry. Install, maintain, and repair electric motors, digital drives, high voltage circuits, and electrical control panels. Responsibilities include: - Repair and maintain electric 3 phase or single phase motors and replace if needed - Maintain all associated equipment for the electric motors, including drives (VFDs) - Install and repair all types of electronic equipment including PLC programs (RS logix 5000, and GE) - Maintain and install electric services in the plant buildings - Install new equipment - mount fixtures, run conduit, pull wire, connect wire, etc. - Perform PMs through work orders on plant equipment - Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns - Perform machine changeovers **Hard Skills** + Troubleshoot off electrical diagrams or schematics + Electrically troubleshoot equipment or machinery + Control wiring + PLC + Familiarity with PLC programming and digital drives + Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems + Ability to interpret schematics to troubleshoot both electrically and mechanically + Proficiency in using electrical measurement devices **Work Environment** Manufacturing environment with a Class 1, Division 1 rating. Candidates will work in a dirty and dusty environment. There are 70 feet silos that may require climbing. This is a tobacco-free plant. **Candidates have the option of the following shifts:** - **3rd Shift Weekend ($36.96): Saturday 7pm-7am, Sunday 7pm-7am, Monday 7pm-3:30am** **- 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday ($37.26): 11pm-7am** **- 2nd Shift Monday-Friday ($37.26): Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11pm** Pay is based on experience and job class, starting at $36.96. Shift differentials are $0.15 for 2nd shift and $0.30 for 3rd shift. Weekend shifts pay time and a half for Saturday and Sunday, with a 32-hour workweek but pay for 44 hours. A $3000 sign-on bonus is available. Safety is a priority, with training provided.
