**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrician to analyze electro/mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment, and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate will work with current Controls Specialist and Mechanics in monitoring and troubleshooting automated equipment, VFD’s, HMI’s, and PLC’s. This role requires troubleshooting plant and utility equipment, performing established preventative maintenance procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. **Responsibilities** + Analyze electro/mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment, and auxiliary equipment. + Work with current Controls Specialist and Mechanics in monitoring and troubleshooting automated equipment, VFD’s, HMI’s, and PLC’s. + Troubleshoot plant and utility equipment making all necessary repairs. + Assist machine operators in determining when to shut down the machine due to mechanical or electrical problems. + Perform established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment and complete appropriate paperwork. + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and disconnects. + Read complex electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. + Diagnose and test motors & motor control circuits. + Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment. + Use electrical testing equipment to assist with troubleshooting equipment. + Have knowledge of the National Electric Code. + Execute assigned projects under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator/Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance Manager. + Perform all work in a timely and professional manner, including follow-up to assure work was completed satisfactorily and documented properly in Micro Main. + Continue education as related to job skills, specifically electrical skills. + Work overtime during breakdowns and scheduled maintenance, including occasional call-ins for emergency situations. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Perform other duties as assigned, including tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical insurance through Anthem, dental insurance through Delta Dental, and vision coverage through Superior Vision, all with competitive and affordable coverage for you and your family.
