**Industrial Electrician**
**Job Description**
As an Electrician, you will spend 90% of your day repairing breakdowns and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, heat treat equipment, and grinders. You will not be installing new equipment or running conduit. Your main tasks will involve repairing existing machines by reading ladder logic and programming small changes into PLCs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, heat treat equipment, and grinders.
+ Use PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot and make small programming changes.
+ Read and understand machine schematics to identify electrical issues.
+ Handle motor controls, including 3-phase and single-phase motors.
+ Perform repairs based on electrical blueprints and schematics.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong troubleshooting skills using PLC ladder logic.
+ Ability to read and understand machine schematics.
+ Experience with motor controls, 3-phase and single-phase motors.
+ Proficient in electrical repair and blueprint reading.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician in a production environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
+ Willingness to work in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments.
+ Capable of walking and standing for 90% of the day.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
+ Ability and willingness to interact with customers.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes working from 6AM to 2:30PM, with the potential to move to a 5AM to 1:30PM schedule if preferred. You will spend 90% of your day walking or standing and must be comfortable working in some areas that are not air-conditioned. The shop environment can be dirty, and you should be prepared to get your hands dirty as part of the job.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a position based out of NA, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
