Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to be well-versed in the theory and operation of electrical equipment, as well as the maintenance, repair, adjustment, testing, and installation of such equipment.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and competently follow prints, diagrams, instructions, and orders.Perform maintenance, repair, adjustment, testing, installing, dismantling, cleaning, lubricating, cooling, and heating of all electrical equipment and circuits.Maintain, repair, adjust, install, replace, and clean motors, motor controllers, and circuits.Make periodic reports to supervision on the condition of equipment.Work on 'hot' lines as required.Install conduit, fittings, switches, controls, fixtures, and wire and connect all types of electrical equipment.Use safe and orderly methods and proper equipment and safety devices.Conduct electrical troubleshooting and analysis.Make emergency repairs to minimize plant downtime.Work in both shop and field environments.Keep a record of work in log form.Maintain a clean work area.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience as an Industrial ElectricianProficiency with hand tools, power tools, test instruments, circuits, power and transportation equipment, pipe threaders, safety equipment, and motor and controller test equipmentExperience with electrical hardware and supplies, apparatus, lubricants, coolants, insulation, replacement parts, wire, solder, tape, conduit, fitting, switches, and relaysSkills in troubleshooting, analyzing, and maintaining industrial electrical systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with industrial instruments and motorsAbility to follow detailed instructions and diagramsCapability to work on 'hot' linesExperience with installing and wiring electrical equipmentWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial environment within a union facility. The position may require rotating shifts (days/nights) with 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be clean-shaven to meet customer requirements for respirator use.

The pay range for this position is $78104.00 - $78104.00/yr.
