**Job Title: Industrial Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are hiring two experienced Industrial Electricians for a night shift position. You will work 4 days on, 4 days off from 6 PM to 6 AM. You must be open to working any day of the week, as the days will rotate.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic problems, not just switch out parts.
+ Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, including plant equipment, piping systems, fluid power systems, and all types of welding.
+ Troubleshoot aluminum extrusion presses and auxiliary equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
+ Read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.
+ Promote, support, and enforce ISO 9001 elements as they apply to the maintenance department.
+ Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory and company requirements.
+ Perform maintenance safety program audits, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, and mobile equipment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and make repairs or improvements as needed.
+ Work with Purchasing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Physical Distribution in maintaining plant services.
+ Assist in maintaining an accurate electronic backlog of all Work Requests and Work Orders, in cooperation with maintenance planners.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong electrical skills and experience in troubleshooting for electrical and hydraulics.
+ Broad industrial maintenance experience, including Electrical/PLC, Robotics, Mechanical, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Welding, Machining, and Conveyor systems.
+ 4+ years of experience as a maintenance technician maintaining and repairing heavy industrial machinery.
+ Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.
+ Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, PLCs, wire installation/termination, combustion, power distribution, electronics process control computers, conduit threading, schematics, bending and installation, AC and DC drives, and welding.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 elements and understanding of their applicability to the department.
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
+ Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements (preferred).

**Work Environment**
Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. You must be open to working any day of the week, as the days will rotate. The work environment is non-climate-controlled in an industrial manufacturing setting. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
