**Job Title: Industrial Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and electrical repairs throughout the facility. The role involves troubleshooting industrial controls, three-phase motor circuits, and basic electrical systems. You will also install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot industrial controls, three-phase motor circuits, and basic electrical systems. + Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. + Perform wiring and hook-up of disconnect switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, and transformers. + Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects. + Assist with the installation of new electrical equipment or modify existing equipment. + Identify opportunities for electrical system improvements and communicate them to a supervisor or manager. + Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. + Review work orders to ensure accuracy and maintain documentation of work performed. + Identify and act upon incidents and safety risks, consistently practice and enforce safe work habits. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months industrial electrical experience, including PLC, VFD, Analog, and advanced electrical controls. + Comfortable and experienced with hand and power tools of all varieties. + Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure and industrial blueprints. + Basic knowledge and safety understanding of electrical components. + Knowledge of basic math, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and calculating percentages. + Proficient in using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a refrigerated environment ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. + Ability to communicate professionally with all plant employees, third-party vendors, and contractors. + Capability to operate a forklift, scissors lift, or any other powered equipment or machinery as needed. + Consistently practice and enforce safe working habits, recognize safety risks, and comply with all safety standards. + Ability to work with a group of technicians or autonomously with limited supervision. + Flexibility to work hours, including weekends and holidays. + Ability to pass a required physical, demonstrating the ability to lift the required weight for the position. + Ability to stand and/or walk for the entire 8-hour shift. + Must wear correct job-specific PPE as designated by company policy. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits, a very clean facility, and the opportunity for two raises a year. The position requires working a 6-6 schedule on night shifts with a rotation of 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on. Employees work in a refrigerated environment ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit.
