Industrial Electrician

Pay - $35-$45 per hour, health insurance, 401k, and PTO
**Reports To:** Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
**Summary:**
This position is responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical theory, a proven track record of safe work practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including but not limited to:
+ Motors, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
+ Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
+ Control panels and instrumentation
+ Lighting systems
+ Power distribution systems (transformers)
+ 480V and lower voltage systems
+ Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.)
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
+ Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs as needed.
+ May be required to work overtime and weekends as needed.
**Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
+ Strong understanding of electrical theory, including AC/DC circuits.
+ Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting a plus.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
+ Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
+ Must pass a background check and physical, including an HPE,
**Pay Details:** $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
