**Job Title: Industrial Electrician | Indefinite Contract Position** **Shift: 3pm - 11pm (Can Bid For Different Shift)** **Pay: 34/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled electrician to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade machinery and control systems. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe work environment, proficiently work with PLC ladder logic, and maintain production equipment including both mechanical and electrical systems. **Responsibilities** + Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade machinery and control systems. + Ensure a safe work environment by following safety procedures. + Read, edit, and create PLC ladder logic. + Maintain production equipment including mechanical and electrical systems. + Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and perform PMs on machinery. + Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Perform MIG and stick welding, burning, and cutting for machinery repairs. + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of industrial electrician maintenance experience. + High school diploma or GED. + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with 480, AC/DC and 110v, 220v, 480v. + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ownership of personal tools. + Basic welding skills (MIG or stick preferred). + PLC troubleshooting experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience repairing cranes. + Experience working on conveyors, stamping presses, reduction mills, slitters, and presses. + PLC programming experience. **Why Work Here?** Employees benefit from a 3% pay increase with the union every year, good benefits, and a supportive, family-type atmosphere.
