As an Industrial Electrician III at Honeywell, you will\nbe an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for performing\npreventive maintenance on machines, troubleshooting issues, and conducting\nrepairs on our chemical machines. This plant in Clover, SC specializes in\nproducing gloves and combining chemicals to create the rubber for\nmanufacturing. This role will involve approximately 80% day-to-day repairs and\n20% long-term projects. Your responsibilities will focus on 60% electrical and\n40% mechanical duties.
You will work a 2-2-3 schedule.
Example:
2 days on: You will be scheduled to work for two consecutive days.
2 days off: After your two workdays, you will have two consecutive days off.
3 days on: Following your initial two days off, you will then work for three\nconsecutive days.
2 days off: Finally, you will have two more consecutive days off before the\ncycle repeats.
Hours: 7pm - 7am
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including\ninspections, lubrication, and adjustments on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues\nto identify the root cause of problems.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as motors,\nsensors, switches, and valves.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive\nmaintenance plans.
- Utilize knowledge of electrical systems and controls to ensure proper\nfunctioning of machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders,\nequipment history, and inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working\nenvironment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in industrial maintenance\ntechniques.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and\nregulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S.\ncitizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under\nasylum or refugee status.
- 3+ years mechanical experience in an industrial setting
- 2+ years electrical experience in an industrial setting
We Value:
- Proven industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Multicraft skills, including proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and\ncontrol systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with controls knowledge, particularly PLC (Programmable Logic\nController) and Allen Bradley systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical\nschematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
