Industrial Electricians install, service, and troubleshoot equipment, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions. They work with plant equipment, distribution circuits and transformers, motors, starters, and motor control centers, programmable logic controllers, computer-based controls, control panels, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical control systems. Service high voltage electrical systems.
ResponsibilitiesInstall conduit and wiring for power distribution, lighting, and machine or equipment controls.Build or modify control panels.Understand, install, and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic and HMIs.Maintain and troubleshoot electrical starters, motors, relays, transformers, electronic controls, HVAC, generators, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.Essential SkillsJourneyman's Card Preferred5+ years of experience assembling, installing, dismantling, and repairing machinery, pumps, and motors.5+ years of experience in PLC troubleshooting on machines.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience working within a foundry environment preferredWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Uncontrolled temperature environment, industrial setting with heat treating and pouring processes. This is a foundry and a union company. The role involves mainly working independently for about 7 to 8 hours, with collaboration with 1 or 2 other people for about 1 to 2 hours. Working hours are from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
