Description:You will be the Industrial Engineer, Asc. for Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive significant improvements in productivity and quality. You will analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, implement lean practices, and develop innovative solutions to enhance our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement
• Applying Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process optimization
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making
• Developing layout designs for equipment and workspace to enhance productivity and reduce waste

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Experience in conducting time and motion studies.
• Understanding of work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Basic proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support decision-making.
• Familiarity in developing layout designs for equipment and workspace to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with predetermined time systems such as MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) or MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique).
• Familiarity in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
