Description:You will be the Industrial Engineer for our manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs, with a strong emphasis on analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for leading standard Industrial Engineering activities, including conducting comprehensive analyses and managing projects to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs. You will work closely with our manufacturing team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting capacity assessments, trend analysis, and cost impact studies to identify opportunities for improvement
• Managing projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and implementation of new production areas, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborating with shop floor personnel, supervisors, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes
• Presenting complex analysis and recommendations to senior management, summarizing key findings and proposed solutions in a clear and concise manner

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering degree
• Experience as an Industrial Engineer, Operations Engineer, Improvement Engineer, or related field
• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required to type
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma
• Experience using CAD software
Desired Skills:
• Tableau/SQL/Python/Data Analytics experience
• Experience with Pro Model or SIMIO simulation modeling
• JIRA/Confluence experience
• Linear Programming experience
• VBA experience
• Factory Capacity, Make/Buy, Machine & Manpower Analysis Experience
• Facilities Layout/Factory Design Experience
• Capital Insertion Payback Period/Return on Investment Analysis based on Process Improvement Savings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
