Rate of Pay:           The salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA   is $97,531.00 – 108,800.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develops and implements performance measurement and improvement initiatives. Performs inspections and investigations and analyzes technical manufacturing or logistics processes and sequences. Plans, proposes and implements improvements projects on site or unit level and sets the respective targets, budgets and personnel resources, as well as the overall project process. Works with other engineering functions, external vendors or service providers, and constantly monitors and approves respective services and work deliveries. Oversees ramp-up phase of new production and test equipment, or production launch of new products and ensures life cycle support. Ensures process documentation, and trains related manufacturing or maintenance staff. Conducts time and motions studies and derives time standards for production calculations.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an Industrial Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Developing project plans, timelines and schedules, budgets, proposed layouts, resource requirements, and calculating ROI utilizing Microsoft projects, Microsoft excel, Microsoft Visio, or AutoCad; Obtain components and test equipment for Ditmco Testing, Light Rail Static Testing, Rolling Stock Trainline testing, and Locomotive airbrake testing ; Utilize SAP to handle purchase orders and requisitions, and monitor and plan delivery activities before the commissioning deadline; Working with electrical, mechanical and Process Flow Diagrams, with the use of PDF exchange and CreoView; Write work instructions and procedures in a technically proficient manner that ensures team safety.
