**Role Purpose**
Provide industrial engineering support to optimize production processes, systems, and resources to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality while reducing waste and cost.
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
+ Analyze and optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall process efficiency.
+ Gather, interpret, and analyze data to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvement.
+ Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer requirements.
+ Plan and manage the optimal use of resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
+ Assess production capabilities and determine optimal capacity levels needed to meet demand.
+ Apply Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste.
+ Work with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, planning, and supply chain to achieve project goals.
+ Lead and support continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation.
+ Provide guidance to leadership on project priority selection.
+ Leverage available resource skill sets around the plant, division, and company in areas of technology and engineering to increase odds of success on key projects.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering
+ 2-5 years of experience in a technical or engineering field
+ Lean Six Sigma certifications (Green or Black Belt Certified)
+ Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
+ Knowledge of Lean principles including Six Sigma methodologies
+ Ability to identify and address the underlying causes of production inefficiency
+ Skill in planning, coordinating, and executing projects utilizing project management tools
+ Capability to make data driven decisions that balance efficiency, cost, and quality
+ Clear communication of complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
+ Eagerness to learn, improve, and adopt best practices for ongoing process enhancement
+ Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Pi Process Book and PowerBI

The range for this position is $65,242.00 - $89,709.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
