About the Role: We are looking for Industrial Engineers to join our manufacturing teams for multiple openings. You will be a member of a cross-functional team supporting commercialized medical device manufacturing. The industrial engineer’s responsibility will be to apply industrial engineering fundamentals and contribute to Lean process improvements, data analysis, cleanroom layout design, and demand and capacity plans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing Industrial Engineering support for state-of-the-art implantable medical devices, energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams, recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships and possess strong attention to detail, and excellent documentation skills.
This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities: Apply industrial engineering fundamentals for process improvement and problem solving Support capacity planning process by managing data collection, capacity modeling, and analyzing and prioritizing capacity improvements Drive quantitative decision making through use of data analytics and simulation modeling Develop, implement, and support manufacturing and supply chain processes to establish optimized, scalable product and material flow Lead cross functional projects to successful completion utilizing project management skillset Apply Lean principles to design and improve manufacturing and other business processes, coach, and mentor other associates on Lean methodology Understand and apply software related to ERP, PLM, CAD, Microsoft Office suites, project management, discrete event simulation, and statistical analysis Leverage broad supply chain knowledge to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain Effectively communicate and influence individuals, teams, and across the organizationRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or degree in related disciplines with transferable knowledge and experiences Solid knowledge of industrial engineering fundamentals and ability to apply this knowledge to manufacturing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated history as an effective team member Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion Ability to be on-site a minimum of four days a week Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
Preferred 1 year relevant engineering or manufacturing operations experience Medical device manufacturing industry or other regulated industry Class II or Class III medical device manufacturing experience
