Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an Industrial Engineer to be responsible for evaluating and supporting our manufacturing operations.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Identify factory performance improvement utilizing industrial engineering and data analytics methodology
+ Maintain modeling data integrity via engineering change control monitoring and frequent communication with tool owners to ensure model readiness
+ Gather and analyze the required information to understand production impact
+ Collect and validate data via classical and automated methods to analyze performance impact of various process changes
+ Performing “what-if” analysis using industrial engineering/operation research tools on business changes
+ Provide information for management reviews of operational performance
+ Optimize, develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequence, equipment layout, and processes in the fabrication of wafers
+ Perform equipment loading studies and determining methods for flow linearization and reduction in variation
+ Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and planning/coordinating the release of new methods, flows, and processes
+ Maintain records and reporting systems for measurement of manufacturing operations
+ Analyze large data sets
+ Working closely with stakeholders to provision data for decision making data and analytics.
+ Creating data visualizations for internal customers.
+ Developing and maintaining server-side Extract Transform Load (ETL) data pipelines and custom databases.
+ Support the development of optimization algorithm
**Qualifications**
**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or Data Analytics
+ 3.0/4.0 GPA
+ Basic proficiency with SQL queries
+ Basic coding proficiency with any of the common language such as Python, Java, C/C
+ Ability to work in clean room environment wearing smock
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master's in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or Data Analytics
+ Ability to initiate activities to support fab and group goals
+ Ability to work and interact equally with all fab disciplines and all levels of the fab organization
+ Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
+ Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
+ Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
+ Familiarity with dashboard reporting software such as Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.is a plus
+ Familiarity with Linux server environments and Git version control is a plus
+ Familiarity with Operations Research, Machine Learning, or Simulation is a plus
