WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an Industrial Engineer supporting the F-35 Final Assembly manufacturing team, you will:
• Develop and implement Industrial Engineering solutions for both shop floor and "above the floor" operations.
• Analyze and optimize production plans to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Create and monitor production health metrics to enhance quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes.
• Utilize automation techniques and software tools to optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and Production Support teams.
• Manage or contribute to special projects, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Industrial Engineering
• Experience in principles such as production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, or capacity/resource planning
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with analytical and project planning tools and software, including MS Office Suite.
• Experience with data analysis & database operations (Statistical process control, SQL, Tableau, data mining, strong Excel skills, etc.)
• Experience Working with Business Objects (BO) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes.
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA/ 5s/ 6s, etc.) or experience applying Lean manufacturing principles & implementing continuous improvements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
