The Industrial Engineering Co-Op will support the engineering and production teams by focusing on administrative and data management tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of manufacturing processes through the creation and maintenance of vital documentation and data.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Create accurate cycle times/rates for all manufacturing process, from raw part to finished assemblies, for both Elyria and NADS. Enter and maintain tooling and gage information within the company database. Assist in the creation and continuous maintenance of detailed work instructions Provide cost estimation for new products and processes Conduct ergonomic assessments of manufacturing processes and implement improvements to promote workplace safety and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure that all tasks and documentation comply with industry standards and company policies.Who You Are: You are creative and stay aligned with your goals and stay productive. Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester Legal Authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Basic understanding of quality engineering, SPC, and capability analysis. Familiarity with gage development and auditing is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication. Analytical mindset for resolving quality issues. High attention to detail for accurate documentation. Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.

Work Schedule
The typical work schedule is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch) to mirror the hours of manufacturing operations but can work with the successful candidate to ensure optimal work-life balance.
