We are targeting students completing their sophomore or junior year of college who are interested in working in a dynamic and engaging work environment to participate in our internship program. Elkay interns will apply the skills and knowledge developed in college while contributing to exciting real world projects!
The Industrial Engineering Intern will assist the Engineering Manager with various projects to support the manufacturing plant by performing the following duties:
Redesign/optimization of workflowExecution of time studies and standards developmentConduct line balance review of assembly linesAlign product platforms to reduce SKU variation in legacy productsThe student will gain experience in the day-to-day activities and project work done by a typical industrial engineer.
