About the role

The Industrial/Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment such as conveyers, shredders, fork-lifts, and plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, inspect and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems on equipment such as shredders, conveyers, some heavy equipment.Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on facility as needed.Welding and fabricating to repair and build and secondary equipment.Complete equipment maintenance records.

 

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 5 years of experience in plant industrial maintenance.Valid Drivers LicenseMust be able to read precision instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters, and other diagnostic tools.Experience with forklift maintenance, heavy equipment and industrial maintenance

Physical Demands:

Frequently exposed to outside weather conditionsFrequently required to stand, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reachClimbing ladders and structures; must be able to tolerate heights.

Schedule

Typically, Monday through Friday day shift - 6a to 4p with occasional overtime.
