About this RoleThe Industrial Hygiene intern will work under the supervision of the Industrial Hygienist and assist with providing industrial hygiene and occupational health support to Quanta Service Operating Units.
What You'll DoESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:
Assist with review of federal and state industrial hygiene regulations and development of corporate and operating company programs and training material templates.Performs employee exposure assessments for chemical and physical agents under direction of the Industrial Hygienist at various worksitesEnters monitoring data into the corporate industrial hygiene database.Researches new and developing industrial hygiene and occupational issues that may impact Quanta Service operating company operations.Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll BringEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Sciences or Public HealthOR
At least 1 year of a Master’s degree program in Industrial Hygiene or Environmental HealthAND
