And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. **We are looking for:** + An **Industrial Hygiene Specialist** who will act as a global leader for industrial hygiene programs, ensuring consistent implementation across multi-site operations while adapting to regional regulatory requirements. The Industrial Hygiene Expert ensures a safe and healthy working environment at Syensqo by identifying industry risk factors and recommending policies to address and mitigate those risks. **We count on you for:** + Identify emerging risks in industrial hygiene (i.e. nanotechnology, green chemistry substances of concern), and propose innovative strategies to address them. + Collaborate with other HSE resources (Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, Process Safety, and Environmental) including site-level personnel to ensure alignment with best practices. + Lead the design and execution of global training frameworks and utilize e-learning platforms and digital tools to enable engaging training. + Leverage data analytics and industrial hygiene software to identify trends, set benchmarks, and recommend targeted interventions. + Develop predictive models to forecast potential exposures and prioritize control measures. + Explore the application of IoT, AI, and wearable technology in exposure monitoring and control. + Evaluate and implement next-generation industrial hygiene tools to enhance workplace safety and productivity. + Provide tools to support evaluations during expansions, mergers, and new technology rollouts. + Expertise in advanced sampling techniques, bioaerosol monitoring, and toxicological risk assessments. + Stay updated on global regulatory shifts such as REACH revisions, OSHA updates, and emerging occupational exposure limits. + Provide input via industry forums to changes in requirements. + Represent Syensqo in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and professional conferences to influence best practices. **You will bring:** **Education & Experience:** + Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Public Health, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. + At least 10 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene, preferably in a chemical industry, with at least 5 years of demonstrated leadership. + Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or country equivalent designation. **Behavioral skills:** + Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. + Demonstrated ability to navigate cultural differences and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Attention to detail and organizational skills. + Commitment to safety and a positive work environment. + Strong ethical principles and integrity. + Serve as a mentor and coach for GBU/site-level hygiene professionals + Provide opportunities to enable technical growth and career development for the Industrial Hygiene Community. **You will get:** + The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $152,000 to $190,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
