**Job Summary** We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist 1 to join our team. The Industrial Hygienist 1 will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying potential health hazards in the workplace, and developing strategies to mitigate risks to employee health and safety. **Qualifications** + Bachelor of Science Degree Preferred. + 1-3 years of experience in field work relating to industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, and hazardous building materials preferred. + Additional experience in lieu of degree considered. + Must have a valid Driver’s License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation. **Technical Requirements:** + Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner/Designer/Monitor licenses preferred. + Microsoft Office experience preferred. + Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and industrial hygiene services preferred. **Other Miscellaneous Qualities:** + Ability to travel, if so what % of the time- locally 90% + Other - miscellaneous qualities + Ability to travel locally 90% of the time. + Ability to work off-shifts, as needed. + Ability to work independently or with a team. + Effective time management skills + Detail oriented **Responsibilities** + Conduct workplace assessments and surveys to identify potential health hazards. + Develop and implement programs to control, minimize, or eliminate hazards. + Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment. + Provide training on occupational health and safety topics. + Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to industrial hygiene. **Compensation:** $20.00 - $25.00 an Hour The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law.
