Industrial Hygienist

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Montreal-based company to hire a bilingual Industrial Hygienist on a full-time permanent basis. In this role you will work in their Montreal Office and support their Industrial Hygiene Program.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the development and deployment of the Industrial Hygiene Program as well as other tools such as the Respirator Protection Program, Hearing Conservation Program etc.Work closely with site Industrial Hygienists.Perform onsite Health / Industrial Hygiene risk assessments (qualitative and quantitative).Participate in the development of sampling strategies and annual planning for exposure monitoring.Conduct sampling campaigns including field planning and material preparation, report preparation and presentation of results to employees and management.Perform trend analysis on Industrial Hygiene data and identify areas for improvement.Participate in the development of training related to the Industrial Hygiene program.Perform regulatory compliance monitoring and impact assessments related to Industrial Hygiene.Perform Industrial Hygiene evaluation / approval of new materials & processes.Supporting sectors as the OHS advisor.Qualifications
As the ideal candidate:
You hold master’s degree in industrial Hygiene.You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.You have strong interpersonal skills, presentation & communication skills.You have the ability to think strategically, search for original solutions, strong analytical & problem-solving skills.You are autonomous, structured, and able to coordinate the implementation of several projects simultaneously.You have excellent computer skills.
