Industrial Maintenance Electrician
**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to perform electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. You will follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. + Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examine the form and texture of parts. + Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. + Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. + Prepare electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. + Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks. **Essential Skills** + Industrial maintenance - preventative and reactive + 480v electrical maintenance + Troubleshooting malfunctions + Electrical meters + Reading schematics and blueprints + Wiring and conduit + Electrical cabinet troubleshooting and maintenance + Using hand and power tools + Precision measuring and testing + Demonstrated electrical abilities through electrical installations, conduit work, PLC wiring, or similar experience. + Specific knowledge and experience with PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical distribution. + Experience in electrical maintenance, equipment installation, and repair and troubleshooting of large automated systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with foundry equipment, paint and machine shop equipment. + Proficiency in CNC Machining, Robotics, and RS 500/5000 Logic. + Experience with induction furnaces, vibratory conveyors, and shot blast equipment. **Why Work Here?** We offer a great benefits package, including time and a half pay on Saturdays and any hours over 8 per day, along with double time on Sundays. There is a mandatory 16 hours of overtime monthly, with the option to volunteer for more. After completing 720 hours and passing the required test, the pay rate increases to $31.19, and to $32.96 once probation is completed. **Work Environment** This position is in a foundry manufacturing environment, which includes a furnace/pour area, CNC machining area, and an assembly area. Good benefits, good opportunity for advancement, good management in place, low turnover, good work atmosphere and culture. **Job Type & Location** This is a permanent, direct-hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN. **Pay:** $30/hr for the first 720 hrs, **_then it goes to $31.19/hr, then goes to $32.96 shortly after that, as long as you pass Ramsey test_** **Shift:** train on 1st shift, then must be flexible to work any shift as needed for the first 720 hours, then it will go to a set schedule on either 2nd or 3rd shift from that point on. _But you can always bid for a shift that's a better fit for you!_ **Schedule:** Monday-Friday with OT on weekends as needed; probably 45-50 hrs a week **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr. 401k, PTO after x time, Benefits after 30 days , employee stock purchase plan. benefits will be in handbook if needed **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga,TN. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Apr 28, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
