Our client is a leading plastic thermoforming company based in Columbus, OH, committed to maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and efficiency. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electronic Mechanic to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Safety and professionalism are paramount, and adherence to lockout and tagout procedures is essential.

The Day-to-Day:

Safely perform preventive maintenance procedures on various production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair production equipment independently, ensuring minimal downtime.Implement equipment modifications to enhance safety and productivity.Provide training to other mechanics as required.Assist set-up personnel and machine operators when needed.Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities in the IQMS system.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the maintenance department.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in performing essential job duties.Physical ability to fulfill job requirements.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams.Good layout and fabrication skills.Familiarity with basic machine shop procedures.Basic training skills are a plus.Knowledge of PLCs and computers is beneficial.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$28.00 per hour.Monday to Friday.1st and 2nd shifts available.
