Our client, a manufacturer in Hayward, CA is looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities for this position include performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, including motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic systems.

The Day-to-Day:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.Conduct equipment repairs and replace faulty parts such as motors and gearboxes.Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Support projects involving equipment installations, system upgrades, and modifications.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma is required; an Associate Degree is a plus.Mechanical aptitude with experience in motors, pneumatics, plumbing, hydraulics, HVAC, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and related hardware.Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Basic computer proficiency is required.Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$20.00 to $30.00 /hrMonday to FridayStart times at either 6:00 AM or 8:00 AM
