**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for the general upkeep of a processing plant and its mechanical equipment. The role involves maintaining equipment, performing fabrications and repairs, communicating with the plant manager to improve efficiency, and scheduling preventive maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform ongoing aggregate maintenance and complete repairs on equipment. + Ensure safety standards are being met. + Perform a wide range of repair tasks around the plant. + Routine maintenance on machinery. + Fabricate and install guards on equipment. + Work on motors, gear boxes, conveyors, and hoppers. + Apply preventive measures to ensure safety and production. + Execute fabrications to increase productivity. + Conduct change-outs on machines, including swapping out paddles, bearings, and rollers on conveyors. + Maintain and repair screen plants and conveyors. + Perform stick arc welding (SMAW). **Essential Skills** + SMAW (stick welding) + Fabrication + Conveyor belt repair + Gear box maintenance + Auger brakes repair + Flame torch usage + Belt splicing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working on screen plants and conveyors + Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery + Skilled in fabricating and installing equipment guards + Knowledge of working on motors, gear boxes, conveyors, and hoppers + Capability to apply preventative safety and production measures + Experience in fabricating additions to increase productivity **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
