**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refinery Multi-craft Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working a day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities over weekends and evenings. The primary duties include conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, exchangers, valves, motors, motor starters, overloads, and instrumentation. The mechanic will also handle rotating equipment, pipefitting, and other facility maintenance tasks as directed. This position requires performing emergency repairs, replacements, and construction work for various types of refinery equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on rotating equipment and other facility components.
+ Conduct emergency repairs and replacements as needed.
+ Work on construction projects related to refinery equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
+ Align pumps using laser or dial indicators.
+ Maintain and calibrate flow meters and other instrumentation.
+ Handle pipefitting, rigging, and flange make-ups.
+ Collaborate with vendors and manage critical inventories.
+ Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for off-hours maintenance events.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
+ Experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
+ Ability to perform laser alignments; dial indicator alignment experience is a plus.
+ Field and shop experience with rotating equipment.
+ Knowledge of torqueing and precision measurement of parts.
+ Experience with mechanical seals, pump teardown/rebuilds, and oil changes.
+ Good attitude and demeanor.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ NCCER certification and technical schooling preferred but not required.
+ Experience with pipefitting, rigging, and flange make-ups.
+ Experience with vendors and maintaining critical inventories.

**Work Environment**
Work in a small refinery environment with a maintenance team of 32 people. The dress code includes Flame-Resistant Clothing (FRCs) when in the facility, and casual attire elsewhere. The regular working hours are from 7am to 3:30pm. During turnarounds, longer hours may be required.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
