Our client in the Columbus, OH area is seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Electronic Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance procedures on all types of production equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the duties which the employee may be expected to perform.

The Day-to-Day:

Work in a safe and professional manner including following lockout and tagout procedures.Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all types of production equipment.Perform all types of troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment without direct supervision.Make equipment modifications as needed to improve safety and productivity.Train mechanics as needed.Assist set-up personnel and machine operators as needed.Follow the preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the schedule provided within the IQMS system. All PM documentation will be made in IQMS.Responsible for keeping the maintenance department clean and orderly.Communicate clearly with other employees daily to share information to ensure that the team meets production goals.

High School DiplomaCertification of a forklift or other equipmentMust understand basic hydraulic and pneumaticMust be able to read electrical and hydraulic diagramsGood layout and fabrication skills are requiredMust know basic machine shop proceduresMust have basic training skills

Pay Rate:

$26.00 to $29.00 /hr
