Job Description
You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including pumps, valves, conveyors, bearings, and more. You will also handle building and facility maintenance, including lawn care, snow removal, duct work repairs, welding, fabrication, and carpentry tasks. Diagnosing and resolving machine malfunctions and operating issues will be a key part of your role.
ResponsibilitiesComplete preventative maintenance on various equipment.Repair pumps, valves, conveyors, bearings, and other machinery.Perform maintenance on buildings, facilities, and grounds, including lawn mowing and snow removal.Carry out duct work and ventilation repairs, welding, fabrication, and carpentry work.Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties, making necessary repairs or adjustments.Fit and align bearings, spindles, and shafts.Assist with the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.Install, repair, rebuild, maintain, and relocate existing machines and equipment.Maintain required maintenance logs and files.Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.Essential Skills2+ years of experience working as an industrial maintenance mechanic.Skilled in diagnosing and repairing machine malfunctions.Experience with fitting and aligning bearings, spindles, and shafts.Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.Proficient in welding, fabrication, and carpentry work.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.Experience with building and facility maintenance.Ability to maintain accurate maintenance logs and files.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a chemical manufacturing environment. The dress code requires jeans and steel-toed shoes. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
