We are looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to support our growing operations in Romeoville, IL. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and packaging equipment, and we need skilled professionals to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize machinery to keep production running at peak efficiency. This role follows a 3-2-2-3 rotating schedule, providing flexibility while maintaining consistent hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose & Repair Equipment – Troubleshoot mechanical failures on food processing and packaging machinery, including mixers, blenders, ovens, baggers, wrappers, case erectors, sealers, and conveyors Perform Preventative Maintenance – Conduct scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize downtime Rebuild & Upgrade Machinery – Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools Optimize Production Performance – Make adjustments and repairs to maintain high-speed production efficiency Ensure Compliance & Safety – Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations

What You Bring to the Role

Education & Experience – AAS degree, maintenance certification, or 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience Industry Knowledge – At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing setting Technical Skills – Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, pulleys, gearboxes, and conveyors Problem-Solving Abilities – Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions Strong Work Ethic – Self-motivated, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills

Blueprint & Schematic Reading – Ability to interpret technical diagrams and mechanical drawings Maintenance Software – Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other computerized maintenance management systems Electrical Troubleshooting – Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus Military Background – Veterans with maintenance experience are strongly encouraged to apply
