Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Position Overview The Tulsa IC Bus Plant is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! The TBP is a million square foot facility that builds school buses from the ground up. Our products are responsible for taking millions of kids to school safely every day. This position will be for the evening shift (2:30PM-1:00AM) and will primarily be responsible for maintaining production equipment, doing repairs, and installing new equipment. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; Ability to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, paint and engine fluid process control systems, roll formers, plasma cutters and resistance and mig welding equipment along with other electro-mechanical equipment. Able to breakdown; clean; rebuild, troubleshoot and repair the following types of equipment: pumps, air motors, welders, fluid power systems, gear drives, heavy industrial machinery and controls. Ability to trouble shoot and work on different types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Daily application of mechanical/electrical aptitude and skills to solve production related problems. Rebuild various equipment based on written and oral instruction Work with maintenance to resolve open issues Diagnose equipment failures at the system and component levels. Work with the team leaders to perform schedule maintenance on equipment Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED At least three years of manufacturing maintenance experience servicing production related equipment Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Must have organization skills, effective communication skills with both technical and professional staff Ability to troubleshoot problems and offer solutions on all industrial systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance Ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency Ability to demonstrate overall safe work behavior; including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adhering to safety guidelines. This position is safety sensitive and may involve the operation of vehicles, operation of equipment, and/or involve work with power tools, or handling of hazardous materials, that could result in injury or damage to person/property/manufacturing process Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting and carrying 15-35 pounds Use of fingers, both hands, reaching and working above shoulders Depth perception required Able to walk, stand, crawl, climb, kneel, bend up to 10 hours per day Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to read and specify the needed parts for equipment or process failures Desired Skills Associates Degree or Certificate in Industrial Maintenance Prefer three years’ experience in troubleshooting, installing, and repairing: PLCs, Metal fabrication equipment, welding equipment, and heavy equipment, painting robotics equipment, and Ethernet IP Network Systems. Experience using Microsoft Office. · Possess a basic working knowledge and understanding of industrial electrical systems with the ability to use a Volt/Ohm Meter. Basic knowledge of hand tools, ability to disassemble and reassemble using proper equipment. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Advanced knowledge of industrial safety requirements related to hazardous, flammable and explosive materials and environments.
