We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. **Overview** **:** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various production and facility equipment, including electrical controls, forklifts, and cranes. Your role involves diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all safety devices are operational. You will also collaborate with management to enhance facility processes and provide training for new technicians. **Compensation** **: $21.00 to $37.00/hour** **Responsibilities** **:** + Builds, installs, maintains, and repairs a variety of production and building equipment, including: + electrical controls, circuits, control panels, forklifts, cranes, company vehicles and other operations equipment in the plant. + Solve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment. + (Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. + Replaces parts by operating machine tools, welding (pending plant location) or brazier as needed. + Follows prescribed preventative maintenance schedule in oiling, greasing and calibration of machinery. + Work with vendors coming on-site for scheduled repairs. + Double checks that safety devices are in working order on all machines and equipment. **Qualifications** **:** + 3+ years of experience or technical associate degree and 2 years’ experience. + Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions, electrical diagrams and schematics, test sheets, completion sheets and quality assurance sheets. + Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Ability to read a tape measure.
