Industrial Maintenance Technician
\r\nOverview
\r\nMust have basic knowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical and Electronic Systems, and Welding (TIG,MIG). Must be able to operate and repair at least 2 different types of forklifts. Technician must be able to work as a team or individually. Must comply with all Company SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, ETC) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.
\r\nResponsibilities
\r\n\r\n Ensure all assign daily PM’s are completed.\r\n Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.\r\n Provide assistance to other teams (Production, Quality- when needed).\r\n Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Safety Practices at all times.\r\n Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment\r\n Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other personnel to diagnose problem or repair machine.\r\n Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.\r\n Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings gears, and other parts of machinery.\r\n Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.\r\n Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.\r\n Installs, programs, troubleshoot, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.\r\n Follow all ISO 14001 procedures\r\n Other duties as needed.\r\n\r\nQualifications

\r\n\r\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent;\r\nFive (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n\r\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
\r\n\r\nMust be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.\r\nMust have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as blue prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.\r\nMust have the ability to write routine correspondence.\r\nMust have the ability to calculate figures, read tape measurement, and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and machine or equipment calibration specifications.\r\n\r\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGRISTATIONS:
\r\nAny that may apply (for example: EPA Certification, Electrician License, etc.)
