Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness and safety of all plant areas while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The technician will perform facility maintenance duties, including repairs, painting, and equipment preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.Fill out and complete work orders for facility-related tasks.Conduct facility maintenance duties, including repairs and painting as required.Maintain punctuality and good attendance; adhere to the established work schedule.Foster a positive and respectful work environment; cooperate with co-workers, management, and internal/external customers. Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager, or HR.Follow directions and instructions accurately.Prioritize safety by reporting unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.Basic electrical experience is a plus.Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Comfortable working on ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, and in other elevated or precarious situations.Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermodynamic equipment.Experience working in environments with heat and noise, such as engine rooms.Strong ability to understand and follow directions.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Effective communication skills.Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn new methods and procedures.

Pay and Shift:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed)Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
