Qualified candidates will perform maintenance and electrical repairs, fabrication, preventative maintenance, and constructions projects. You must learn the maintenance trade as it relates to this company's needs. You will perform necessary troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities, as directed or through assisting others. Install new equipment, make set-ups and adjustments to production and other equipment's, and performs all necessary maintenance.
Qualifications:
must be physically and mentally fit for duty dependable and able to maintain attendance required to perform the job ability to read, write, comprehend, and fully understand all SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, warehouse procedures and standards. ability to operate computerized equipment, read scales, recognize product problems, malfunctions and patterns out of specification must have at least 2 years experience in maintenance in manufacturing, industrial, heavy commercial, or similar backgrounds must be dependable, have good performance, communication, interpretation skills, be willing to take direction demonstrate either by interviews, performance, tests, experience or through observation by others, mechanical and electrical aptitude, skills, or potential must be willing to work flexible hours as needed, must be available for any shift or time needed must be able to work in a DUSTY environment and work in hot and/or cold environments must qualify for and wear a respirator be able to stand, kneel, or bend for prolonged periods of time must be able to complete formal training program, perform heavy and arduous tasks, work in confined spaces be able to climb ladders or crawl into awkward spaces, visually inspect machines, work in elevated platforms pre-hire drug screen, physical test, and/or background screen may be requiredDuties and Responsibilities:
ensure all calls are answered, completed, and time recorded in eMaint, run daily reports ensure all preventative maintenance is complete and logged review previous shift BDM work orders for any outstanding work attend shift meetings check emails throughout shift, floor coverage utilize hand tools routine servicing of forklift trucks as needed maintain high standards for housekeeping follow all company rules and regulations, all health and safety rules perform other job duties as necessaryBenefits
