**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, normal maintenance, and emergency repairs on plant equipment. This includes working with conveyors, slicing, labelling, and packaging equipment. You will also fabricate and install various pieces of equipment, perform pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, and electronic installations and repairs. Your role ensures quality product production and continuous improvement, adhering to Q-RMP standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on plant equipment.
+ Fabricate and install various pieces of equipment.
+ Rebuild equipment as necessary, including machining and fabricating.
+ Perform pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, and electronic installations and repairs.
+ Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Maintain quality product production and support continuous improvement.
+ Communicate effectively between shifts.
+ Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Experience in electrical maintenance up to 480v.
+ Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting PLCs.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Ability to replace and repair motors, gearboxes, and photo eyes.
+ Experience with 24v hoppers and drop buckets, heat sealers, and conveyors.
+ Ability to handle work orders and assist in other areas as needed.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical and mechanical maintenance.
+ Experience as an electrician or welder.
+ Experience in maintenance within a food and beverage facility.
+ Experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, wiring, and using a multimeter.
+ Ability to handle 3-phase wiring and electrical troubleshooting.

**Work Environment**
This is a GMP environment requiring proper PPE including hair nets, beard nets, non-slip shoes, and safety glasses. The shifts available are 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and 3rd shift (10:30pm - 7:00am), Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime during the busy season from July to the end of the year. The facility is mostly temperature-controlled at 50 degrees and requires the use of safety gear such as hard hats, ear plugs, steel toes, and smocks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Massillon, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00
