Industrial Maintenance Technician
Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs. Responsibilities include: * Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently * Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems * Work on motors, and conveyors, AC/DC, PLC troubleshooting * Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives * Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities * Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures * Complete Timely and accurate paperwork Strong Electrical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience * Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment * An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems * Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives * Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits * Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches * A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems * PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred * Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings * Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner * Ability to work weekends & overtime * Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills * Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred * Corrugated background is a plus, but not required ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
