Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The maintenance technician will be tasked with handling preventative and corrective maintenance tasks through an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, motor repairs, generator repairs, and automation system repairs. It requires prior experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and welding/fabricating. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment and systems.Repair and maintain electric motors, generators, and automation systems.Diagnose and fix issues related to hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Work on metal extruding machines.Essential SkillsExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting.Experience with motor repairs and generator repairs.Proficiency in automation system repairs.Prior experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.Skills in welding and fabricating.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Work Environment

The work environment can be hot, dealing with aluminum, and employees will be pulled in a lot of different directions. The schedule follows a 2, 2, 3 pattern (12-hour shifts) from 7 PM to 7 AM, working a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend, including overtime.

This position is based out of Prince George, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00
