**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This position is responsible for repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment in the facility. **Responsibilities** + Ensure that all scheduled inspections and repairs are completed correctly, effectively, and in a timely manner. + Perform oil and coolant changes on production equipment. + Diagnose and repair bearings, ball screws, and servo motors. + Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance activities are being performed and documented per schedule. + Install and relocate equipment as needed throughout the workshop. + Work with equipment manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems. + Effectively document the work performed to maintain accurate work history and troubleshooting notes. + Responsible for changing out air conditioning filters, light fixtures, and switches. + Responsible for maintaining outside sprinkler systems and outside lighting. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years equipment troubleshooting and repair experience. + Ability to read machine prints and determine which items are needed to complete any repairs. + Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. + Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Ability to replace electronic components. + Ability to work independently at a fast pace, follow directions, and make decisions. + Ability to do general facilities repairs including lighting repair and maintenance. + Ability to operate a forklift. + Ability to maintain machine coolant at proper concentrations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience maintaining CNC machinery is highly desired. + Experience with maintenance of other types of production equipment is acceptable. **Why Work Here?** Shapes is a family-owned, climate-controlled facility that is extremely neat and organized with a strong team culture. The schedule for the 1st shift is 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palm Bay, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
