This is a full-time, permanent role on the overnight 3rd shift with a schedule of 5 - 10-hour shifts per week. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical equipment to ensure maximum efficiency in our production processes. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep our facility running smoothly. **Responsibilities:** + **Preventive Maintenance:** Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and servicing of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. + **Troubleshooting and Repairs:** Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations. + **Equipment Setup:** Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems are operating correctly. + **PLC Maintenance:** Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated systems to maintain operational efficiency. + **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, repairs, inspections, and any modifications made to equipment. + **Machine Calibration:** Calibrate machines and equipment as needed to ensure precise and accurate operation. + **Equipment Upgrades:** Assist in equipment upgrades and modifications to improve production capabilities and meet quality standards. + **Maintenance Scheduling:** Assist in planning and scheduling regular maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to production. + **Quality Control:** Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment to ensure that it meets B&G Foods' quality standards and production goals. **Qualifications:** **Experience:** + Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related fields (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems). + Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. **Technical Skills:** + Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing, maintaining, and operating industrial machinery. + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and basic programming. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to identify issues and perform repairs. **Machine Knowledge:** + Knowledge of industrial equipment, such as pumps, motors, conveyors, HVAC systems, compressors, and other manufacturing machinery. + Experience with conveyors, gears, bearings, pumps, presses, and other critical production equipment. **Tools and Equipment:** + Experience using hand and power tools, diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and other industrial maintenance tools. + Familiarity with machine calibration and setup procedures. **Why Work Here?** + Competitive salary between $60K - $70K. + Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. + Paid time off and 401K retirement plan. + Opportunity for growth and development within the company. + Join a team that values quality, innovation, and employee development. **Work Environment:** + Industrial facility with exposure to both clean and dirty environments. + Ability to work in a physically demanding role, which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. + Overnight 3rd shift (5 - 10-hour shifts). **To Apply:** If you're a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, growing company, we want to hear from you!
