**Industrial Maintenance Technician** _Up to $32/Hour_ **Location** **:** Sioux Falls, SD **Pay** **:** $25-$32/Hour **Hours** **:** Monday thru Friday, 8AM to 5PM **Description:** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. Candidates must posses 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting and PLC experience. This role ensures adherence to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of our business goals and objectives. **Key Responsibilities** **:** + Handle facility maintenance issues, including preventative maintenance. + Use a variety of tools and knowledge of what tools are needed for specific repairs. + Perform highly diversified duties to assemble, disassemble, and maintain equipment. + Understand machine-specific lockout/tagout procedures to ensure equipment can be serviced + without the threat of unexpectedly starting back up. + Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with strong electrical knowledge. + Have a strong working knowledge of the operation of compressors, boilers, cooling + systems, and related equipment regarding ammonia and Freon systems. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Interpret and understand blueprints and codes and diagnose PLCs (Program Logic Controllers). + Have knowledge of the mechanical operation of all equipment. + Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and adjust. + Maintain parts and supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed parts and supplies, placing, and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. + Safely operate tools including drills, grinders, and other power equipment.
