**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. Your main responsibilities will include removing, installing, inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical components on various production and facility equipment and automated equipment. **Responsibilities** + Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, modify, and repair all types of production and facility electrical and electronic equipment without direct supervision. + Design and install complicated circuitry in new equipment in collaboration with the Engineering Department. + Inspect, test, repair, wire, and install all types of electrical apparatus and devices in the plant and on the grounds. + Utilize applicable test equipment, hand, and power tools to complete assigned tasks. + Perform cross trade activities where necessary to complete work assignments. + Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints and schematic diagrams, and create drawings showing any changes made to various systems. + Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant utility and production equipment layout and operating parameters. + Know the location of critical electrical switches and disconnects. + Observe all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures. + Display proficiency in PLC control system troubleshooting. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs. + Ability to work with others on new equipment installation and wiring. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor/pump assemblies. + Knowledge of PLC control system troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electrical test equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, and ohm meters. + Skill in using hydraulic conduit benders and other hand and power tools used in the trade. + Experience operating fork lift trucks, boom lifts, ladders, and other equipment. + Ability to perform scheduled/planned maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment. + Capability to repair and improve mechanical components on assembly equipment. + Assist with basic maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $60320.00/yr.
