What You'll Do as a Skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician:

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a steel distribution processing facility.Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control systems, including PLCs, A/C, and D/C controls.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, performing root cause analysis and solutions.Maintain inventory for parts, supplies, and equipment.Draw mechanical diagrams of parts for regeneration or manufacturing of replacement parts.Coordinate the delivery and pickup of regenerated machine parts from machine shops.Fabricate repair parts and operate tools such as welders, forklifts, high-reach lifts, and cranes.Remove, replace, and install machine parts, motors, pumps, belts, compressors, and blades.Work with 480V 3-phase electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsHave experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control systems, including PLCs, A/C, and D/C controlsManual dexterity and the ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. up to 10-hours per dayFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer skillsStrong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skillsAbility to follow safety protocols, company policies, and proceduresFlexibility to work rotating shifts as needed.Occasionally travel (1-2 times per year) to a secondary location.
