Maintenance Technician

Paying $26.00 / HR to $30 / HR

Location: Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devicesProactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness.Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories.Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation.Support daily/weekly asset usage.Assist in daily/weekly training warehouse personnel.Assist with special projects as directed by management.Continuously seeking to improve upon existing methods of operation, by research and development.

Qualifications:

Experience in production or high volume distribution settings is a plus.Experience with conveyor systems, high-volume washers/dryers/air tumblers etc.

Environment/Shift:

Warehouse environment.RPCs are received, unloaded and sorted, sanitized/washed and QC'd, restacked and prepped for shipment.Maintenance team oversees facilities and mechanical maintenance.2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 10:30pm.3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
