Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team in Whippany, NJ. This role is responsible for equipment and facility maintenance, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities with global engineering support as neededMaintain and expand spare parts inventory to prevent production downtimeOversee inventory and maintenance of knives and counter-knives, assisting with replacementsEnsure facility maintenance and inspections comply with local lawsSupport planning and execution of plant upgrades in coordination with global teamsDocument all internal and external maintenance work per ISO 9001 standardsPerform additional tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

Completed training as an electrician or AS/BS in Electrical Engineering with strong mechanical skillsSeveral years of experience in technical service, preferably in the equipment industryAbility to complete tasks independently, accurately, and on timeCarpentry skills are a plus

Pay & Schedule:

Salary: $70,000 per yearSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
