Our client, a manufacturer in Fullerton, CA is looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing electrical systems that are critical to the plant's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including motor control centers, VFDs, DC drives, and PLCsModify and program PLC systems and control circuitsPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery and equipmentUse mechanical and electrical testing tools for diagnostics and repairsMonitor equipment performance and ensure timely issue resolutionRead and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and work ordersParticipate in process improvements and maintenance planningCollaborate with operations and management to schedule repairs and upgradesMaintain proper inventory of parts and document all maintenance activitiesFollow all safety protocols and electrical codes

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in applied technology or equivalent industrial experience3+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial settingStrong knowledge of 480V, low voltage, DC systems, VFDs, and PLC troubleshootingProficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and using diagnostic equipmentSkilled in conduit bending, wiring, splicing, and terminationUnderstanding of electrical distribution systems, transformers, relays, and breakersFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and fabricationAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksStrong communication skills and attention to detailMust be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Note: Overtime and weekend availability required
